Nikolaus Supersberger, MSc., is Research Fellow at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate Environment Energy. His scientific education in oceanography and environmental technology lead him to Great Britain and Denmark. His research topics are energy security, availability of fossil energy sources and energy geopolitics. Within these topics he is concentrating on sustainable energy systems and cooperation models in the Persian Gulf region. He is co-author of and contributor to various books, among them Krisenfaktor Öl, which will be published in November 2006.
