A Swedish national, Jacob Eriksson grew up in the Philippines, Australia, Sweden, and the USA. He has an undergraduate degree in War Studies and History, and a Master's degree with Distinction in International Peace & Security, both from King's College London. His specific area of interest is the Arab-Israeli conflict, but other general interests include Middle Eastern politics, global conflict management and resolution, international terrorism, and the development of radical Islam. He is currently a PhD student at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, working on a comparative analysis of different third-party mediators of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
