What we are:

• Our knowledge base is deep on the hard military aspects, the limits, and costs of peacemaking; our Advisory Board contains 16 generals. WSN also focuses on important, 'soft' factors in peacemaking: the second pillar of effective, credible double strategies. Softer factors are neglected in all conflicts, but hard reality shows them to be as important, or more important, as hard military power.
• We promote fresh, innovative thinking. We look for well thought out action plans to contain crises, thinking 'out of the box' as we have successfully in business.
• We follow a bottom-up approach, asking first what people on the ground need, and why the crisis has started. We integrate their needs and ideas into our proposals.
• WSN is a new kind of global foreign affairs action network in the age of globalization using the internet and local Task Force meetings.
