Dr. Ulrike Guerot joined the European Council on Foreign Relations (www.ecfr.eu) in July 2007 as a Director of the Berlin Office. Previously she was Senior Transatlantic Fellow with the German Marshall Fund (www.gmfus.org 2004-2007), and the Head of the European Union Unit at the German Council on Foreign Relations (www.dgap.org) in Berlin (2000-2003). Ulrike has also worked as an Assistant Professor on European Studies at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C., (1998-2000); as a Chargé de Mission at Notre Europe, Paris, (1996-1998) under President Jacques Delors, and as a staff member of the German Bundestag's Commission on External Affairs (1992-1995. She has been publishing widely in German, English and French on European, transatlantic and global issues in various academic journals and newspapers and books (see here for a list of her publications).
