Lukas Pfeiffer joined WSN after attending a discussion about the visions of Dr. Kraemer with Dr. Hubertus Hoffmann at the Center for Applied Policy Research at the University of Munich (C.A.P) where he was fascinated by the practical perspective of WSN and how it could add to his theory-based study. He is currently studying Politics and Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
Lukas Pfeiffer started to work as freelancer for a local newspaper at the age of 15 that founded his interest in editorial work. Besides his studies he has worked for various local newspapers and radio stations, Dr. Thomas Goppel at the Bavarian Parliament, and is currently employed as research assistant and student employee at IDEO GmbH Munich, a global innovation consultancy, where he realized the importance of the ability to innovate for impact in the 21st century. How this insight can affect the political area is one of the questions that he engages with.
Living in a very international shaped student residence in Munich as well as the Erasmus Exchange at Maastricht has developed his intercultural enthusiasm. A travel to the Lebanon has deepened his interest in the Middle East. As editor he will also focus on the Syria crisis and the broader Middle East.
