Abbas J. Ali, Ph.D., is Professor of Management and Director, School of International Management, Eberly college of Business, at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His current research interests include global business leadership, strategy, foreign policy, comparative management, competitiveness issues, organizational politics, and international management. He published more than one hundred-twenty scholarly journal articles. In addition, he delivered more than 350 presentations at professional and academic meetings. His latest book, Islamic Perspectives on Management and Organization is published in 2005 by Edward Elgar Publishing. He serves as editor of the International Journal of Commerce and Management, Advances in Competitiveness Research, Competitiveness Review and Journal of Global Competitiveness. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of several academic journals.
