Edwards Media Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. A native of Congo, Dizolele was abducted by the Mobutu regime’s security police in 1988 and held in political detention for 22 days. He is currently working on a biography of the late dictator, Mobutu: the Rise and Fall of the Leopard King.
