World Security Network Foundation

The World Security Network Foundation (New York) was founded and financed by the German businessman Dr. Hubertus Hoffmann (General Capital Group) as a nonprofit organization  with the goal of building a network of the info-elite in the area of foreign and security policy for the purpose of “Networking a Safer World.”

The news service at www.worldsecuritynetwork.com informs about the most recent analyses and trends in world politics and makes concrete suggestions for all conflict areas.

Each Friday, the largest electronic newsletter in the world on the subject of foreign policy goes out to more than 160,000 recipients, mostly in the U.S.A., including 45,000 professors and graduates of elite universities, 36,000 businessmen , 32,000 journalists, and 13,000 politicians and experts.

Belonging to the International Advisory Board are 24 personages from ten countries, including six generals, former politicians, and journalists.

With the “World Security Network Scholarship” the foundation supports young people in getting to know the decision makers in American security policy. First awarded in this year, the recipient was Dmitry Udalov, a 19-year-old student from Moscow.

At the moment, WSN, along with eight research institutes, is producing “Codes of Tolerance” with which a policy of reconciliation and understanding between the Islamic and Western world will be propagated and supported.
